South Carolina High School Softball - Woodruff bounces Broome
April 8, 2024: Woodruff, SC 29388 Woodruff Wolverines (Woodruff, SC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Broome Centurions (Spartanburg, SC), 13-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Wolverines now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Emerald for a AAA Region 4 challenge on Tuesday, April 9. Woodruff will battle a Vikings squad coming off a 15-5 non-league loss to Brashier Middle College Charter (Simpsonville, SC). The Vikings record now stands at 1-8.
With the loss, Broome falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Centurions host Travelers Rest (Travelers Rest, SC) to battle the Devildogs in a AAA Region 3 challenge on Tuesday, April 9. The Devildogs enter the challenge with a record of 9-3. Travelers Rest won 8-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Landrum (Landrum, SC)
