Louisiana High School Softball - Central Lafourche bounces Maurepas
April 8, 2024: Raceland, LA 70394 Central Lafourche Trojans (Raceland, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Maurepas Wolves (Maurepas, LA), 14-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Trojans now own a 9-18 record. They take the field next when they host A.J. Ellender for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 9. Central Lafourche will battle a Patriots squad coming off a 15-4 league loss to South Lafourche (Galliano, LA). The Patriots record now stands at 8-13.
With the loss, Maurepas falls to 8-12 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Albany (Albany, LA) to battle the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 9. The Hornets enter the challenge with a record of 15-10. Albany lost 4-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Walker (Walker, LA)
