Maryland High School Softball - Elkton bounces Edgewood
April 8, 2024: Elkton, MD 21921 Elkton Golden Elks (Elkton, MD) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Edgewood Rams (Edgewood, MD), 12-5 in a non-league challenge.
The Golden Elks now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to C. Milton Wright for a Upper Chesapeake Bay challenge on Wednesday, April 10. Elkton will battle a Mustangs squad coming off a 10-2 league loss to Patterson Mill (Bel Air, MD). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, Edgewood falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Rams host Aberdeen (Aberdeen, MD) to battle the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 10. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 0-10. Aberdeen lost 4-3 in their recent league challenge against Joppatowne (Joppa, MD)
