Virginia High School Softball - Mount Vernon felled by Hayfield
April 8, 2024: Alexandria, VA 22315 In Monday's league outing, the host Hayfield Hawks softball team scored a nice 16-5 win over the Mount Vernon Majors.
Coming up next, the Hawks encounter the Justice Wolves (Falls Church, VA) in a National outing, on Thursday, April 11. Hayfield will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Wolves enter the outing with a 1-5 record after their 17-1 league loss to Falls Church (Falls Church, VA).
The Majors (2-4) will now prepare for their outing against Annandale (Annandale, VA). The Atoms enter the National outing with a 3-5 record. In their last outing, Annandale was routed by Edison (Alexandria, VA), 10-0, in a league outing.
