April 8, 2024: Jackson, MI 49203 Whitmore Lake Trojans (Whitmore Lake, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Vandercook Lake Jayhawks (Jackson, MI), 20-15 in a non-league challenge.
The Trojans now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Pioneer for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 9. Whitmore Lake will battle a Pioneers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Powers Catholic (Flint, MI). The Pioneers record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Vandercook Lake falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Jayhawks travel to Michigan Center (Michigan Center, MI) to battle the Cardinals in a Cascades challenge on Wednesday, April 10. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
