Mississippi High School Baseball - Choctaw County wallops Columbus
April 8, 2025: Ackerman, MS 39735 The Choctaw County Chargers (Ackerman, MS) baseball trounced the visiting Columbus Falcons (Columbus, MS), 15-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Chargers now own a 16-6 record. They take the field next when they host Calhoun City for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 11. Choctaw County will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 8-7 non-league loss to Hatley (Amory, MS). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-16.
With the defeat, Columbus drops to 9-17 on the year. The Falcons travel to Nanih Waiya (Louisville, MS) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 10. The Warriors go into the challenge with a record of 12-11. Nanih Waiya won 19-4 in their recent league challenge against Velma Jackson (Camden, MS)
