The McQueen Lancers baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Galena Grizzlies to 6 in the Lancers league win on Tuesday.

The Lancers now hold a 10-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Reed for a 5A Northern test on Saturday, April 12. McQueen will play a Raiders team coming off a 9-2 league loss to Douglas (Minden, NV). The Raiders record now stands at 10-10.

With the defeat, Galena drops to 8-7 on the year. The Grizzlies host Carson (Carson City, NV) to play the Senators in a 5A Northern test on Thursday, April 10. The Senators go into the test with a record of 5-13. Carson lost 7-1 in their recent league test against Spanish Springs (Sparks, NV)
