The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Prairie Central Hawks (Fairbury, IL) and the host Iroquois West Raiders (Gilman, IL), saw Prairie Central's baseball team gain a win over Iroquois West by a tally of 14-3.

The Hawks (3-7) will now prepare for their battle against St. Thomas More (Champaign, IL). The Sabers enter the Illini Prairie battle with a 3-9 record. In their last battle, St. Thomas More was overwhelmed by Watseka (Watseka, IL), 7-5, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Raiders face the Herscher Tigers (Herscher, IL) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, April 10. Iroquois West will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 9-1 record after their 17-1 league win over Lisle (Lisle, IL).
