April 8, 2025: Monroeville, AL 36460 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the McKenzie Tigers (McKenzie, AL) and the host Monroe County Tigers (Monroeville, AL), saw McKenzie's baseball team gain a win over Monroe County by a tally of 17-2.
The Tigers (9-12) will now prepare for their battle against Flomaton (Flomaton, AL). The Hurricanes enter the non-league battle with a 13-8 record. In their last battle, Flomaton prevailed over Murphy (Mobile, AL), 18-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Tigers face the Hillcrest Jaguars (Evergreen, AL) in a 3A Area 3 battle, on Friday, April 11. Monroe County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record.
