In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy Phoenix volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Academy of Aerospace and Engineering Jets.

The Phoenix (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Conard (West Hartford, CT). The Red Wolves come into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Conard beat South Windsor (South Windsor, CT), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
