April 8, 2025: Lakeland, GA 31635 The Monroe Golden Tornadoes soccer team (Albany, GA), was overwhelmed 7-0 in Tuesday's non-league match with the host Lanier County Bulldogs (Lakeland, GA)
With the triumph, Lanier County moves its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Valdosta (Valdosta, GA) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league match on Wednesday, April 9. The Wildcats come into the match with a record of 0-15. Valdosta lost 10-0 in their recent non-league match against Berrien (Nashville, GA)
The Golden Tornadoes now sport a 2-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Westover for a 3A Region 1 match on Thursday, April 10. Monroe will meet a Patriots team coming off a 10-1 non-league loss to Deerfield-Windsor (Albany, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 4-7.
