April 8, 2025: New Lenox, IL 60451 Lincoln-Way Central Knights (New Lenox, IL) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Minooka Indians (Minooka, IL), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Lincoln-Way Central advances its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Knights host Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, IL) to clash with the Griffins in a SouthWest Suburban Blue test on Thursday, April 10. The Griffins come into the test with a record of 5-2. Lincoln-Way East lost 2-1 in their recent league test against Lockport (Lockport, IL)
The Indians now have a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Joliet Central for a test on Thursday, April 10. Minooka will clash with a Steelmen team coming off a 6-1 league loss to Plainfield South (Plainfield, IL). The Steelmen record now stands at 3-4.
