Illinois High School Lacrosse - Lake Forest Academy can't hold off Latin
April 8, 2025: Chicago, IL 60610 Latin Romans (Chicago, IL) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they saw their lacrosse team nudge the visiting Lake Forest Academy Caxys (Lake Forest, IL), 5-4 in a league game.
With the victory, Latin advances its record to 2-4 on the season. The Romans host Chicago Mt. Carmel (Chicago, IL) to play the Caravan in a non-league game on Thursday, April 10. The Caravan come into the game with a record of 6-2. Chicago Mt. Carmel lost 11-1 in their recent league game against Saint Ignatius College Prep (Chicago, IL)
The Caxys now sport a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grayslake for a non-league game on Thursday, April 10. Lake Forest Academy will play a Lacrosse team coming off a 14-7 non-league win over Crystal Lake Central (Crystal Lake, IL). The Lacrosse record now stands at 2-1.
