April 8, 2025: Rogersville, TN 37857 Cherokee Chiefs (Rogersville, TN) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Volunteer Falcons (Church Hill, TN), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Cherokee moves its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Chiefs host Grainger (Rutledge, TN) to clash with the Grizzlies in a AA District 2 test on Thursday, April 10. The Grizzlies come into the test with a record of 2-5. Grainger lost 6-0 in their recent league test against Greeneville (Greeneville, TN)
The Falcons now sport a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grainger for a AA District 2 test on Tuesday, April 15. Volunteer will clash with a Grizzlies team coming off a 5-1 league loss to Cherokee (Rogersville, TN). The Grizzlies record now stands at 2-6.
