Georgia High School Soccer - Lanier County knocks off Monroe
April 8, 2025: Lakeland, GA 31635 The Lanier County Bulldogs soccer squad scored 10 points and held the visiting Monroe Golden Tornadoes to 3 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now hold a 2-10 record. They play next when they travel to Vidalia for a non-league bout on Tuesday, April 15. Lanier County will play a Indians squad coming off a 4-1 league loss to Savannah Christian (Savannah, GA). The Indians record now stands at 5-9.
With the loss, Monroe moves to 0-10 on the year. The Golden tornadoes travel to Westover (Albany, GA) to play the Patriots in a 3A Area 1 bout on Thursday, April 10. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 3-9. Westover lost 4-3 in their recent non-league bout against Deerfield-Windsor (Albany, GA)
