Virginia High School Soccer - Nansemond River nudges New Kent
April 8, 2025: Suffolk, VA 23434 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the host Nansemond River Warriors soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the New Kent Trojans.
The Warriors (3-1) will now prepare for their outing against Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA). The Wildcats go into the Southeastern outing with a 3-1 record. In their last outing, Great Bridge got by Northampton (Eastville, VA), 5-2, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Trojans play the York Falcons (Yorktown, VA) in a Bay Rivers outing, on Wednesday, April 16. New Kent will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Falcons go into the outing with a 4-3 record after their 2-0 league loss to Warhill (Williamsburg, VA).
