April 8, 2025: Oak Ridge, TN 37830 Sevier County Smoky Bears (Sevierville, TN) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Oak Ridge Wildcats (Oak Ridge, TN), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Sevier County moves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Smoky Bears travel to Morristown-Hamblen West (Morristown, TN) to clash with the Trojans in a AAA District 2 test on Thursday, April 10. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 2-7. Morristown-Hamblen West lost 2-0 in their recent league test against Morristown-Hamblen East (Morristown, TN)
The Wildcats now sport a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Powell for a AAA District 3 test on Friday, April 11. Oak Ridge will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 1-1 league Karns (Knoxville, TN). The Panthers record now stands at 3-4.
