South Carolina High School Softball - Ashley Ridge sneaks past West Ashley
April 8, 2025: Summerville, SC 29485 In Tuesday's league match, the host Ashley Ridge Swamp Foxes softball team scored a tight 1-0 win over the West Ashley Wildcats.
The Swamp Foxes (6-7) will now prepare for their match against Fort Dorchester (North Charleston, SC). The Patriots come into the AAAAA Region 8 match with a 11-2 record. In their last match, Fort Dorchester was nipped by Berkeley (Moncks Corner, SC), 7-4, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Battery Creek Dolphins (Beaufort, SC) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, April 9. West Ashley will attempt to better on its 12-4 season record. The Dolphins come into the match with a 4-6 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Oceanside Collegiate Academy (Mt. Pleasant, SC).
