Illinois High School Softball - Durand bounces Belvidere
April 8, 2025: Belvidere, IL 61008 The Durand Bulldogs softball team scored 18 runs and held the host Belvidere Bucs to 4 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lena-Winslow for a Northwest Upstate Illini - North battle on Wednesday, April 9. Durand will confront a Panthers team coming off a 7-0 league loss to Dakota (Dakota, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 6-5.
With the loss, Belvidere moves to 4-2 on the season. The Bucs travel to North Boone (Poplar Grove, IL) to confront the Vikings in a non-league battle on Saturday, April 12. The Vikings come into the battle with a record of 5-2. North Boone won 18-4 in their recent league battle against Genoa-Kingston (Genoa, IL)
