Berkeley Prep Buccaneers (Tampa, FL) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting River Ridge Royal Knights (New Port Richey, FL), 7-2 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Berkeley Prep upgrades its record to 10-5 on the year. The Buccaneers host Steinbrenner (Lutz, FL) to play the Warriors in a non-league game on Wednesday, April 9. The Warriors enter the game with a record of 14-5. Steinbrenner won 3-2 in their recent non-league game against Mitchell (New Port Richey, FL)

The Royal Knights now own a 8-8 record. They play next when they travel to Osceola for a non-league contest on Wednesday, April 9. River Ridge will face a Warriors squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Palm Harbor University (Palm Harbor, FL). The Warriors record now stands at 14-5.
