Texas High School Softball - Castleberry succumbs to Eagle Mountain

April 8, 2025: Fort Worth, TX 76114

In Tuesday's league test, the Eagle Mountain Knights (Fort Worth, TX) softball squad overwhelmed the host Castleberry Lions (Fort Worth, TX), by a tally of 10-0.

Next, the Knights clash with the Decatur Eagles (Decatur, TX) in a 4A Region I District 8 test, on Friday, April 11. Eagle Mountain will attempt to advance on its 13-11 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 12-5 record after their 11-5 league win over Castleberry (Fort Worth, TX).

The Lions (6-18) will now prepare for their test against Springtown (Springtown, TX). The Porcupines go into the 4A Region I District 8 test with a 15-7 record. In their last test, Springtown prevailed over Bridgeport (Bridgeport, TX), 10-3, in a league battle.
