New Jersey High School Softball - Schalick bounces Clayton
April 8, 2025: Clayton, NJ 08312 In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Schalick Cougars softball team scored a tight 12-8 win over the Clayton Clippers.
The Cougars (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Overbrook (Pine Hill, NJ). The Rams come into the Tri-County - Diamond match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, Overbrook was routed by Pennsville Memorial (Pennsville, NJ), 8-4, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Clippers battle the Pennsville Memorial Eagles (Pennsville, NJ) in a Tri-County - Classic match, on Thursday, April 10. Clayton will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Eagles come into the match with a 5-2 record after their 8-4 non-league win over Overbrook (Pine Hill, NJ).
