The Northlake Christian Wolverines triumphed over the host Franklinton Demons softball squad by a count of 16-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Wolverines meet the Mt. Hermon Yellowjackets (Mt. Hermon, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, April 9. Northlake Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 8-11 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the challenge with a 8-8 record after their 14-13 non-league loss to Salmen (Slidell, LA).

The Demons (9-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Sumner (Kentwood, LA). The Cowboys enter the non-league challenge with a 25-4 record. In their last challenge, Sumner overcame St. Thomas Aquinas (Hammond, LA), 8-2, in a non-league challenge.
