The Gibson County Pioneers softball squad (Dyer, TN), 4-2 in Tuesday's league contest with the visiting Westview Chargers (Martin, TN)

With the triumph, Westview advances its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Ripley (Ripley, TN) to face the Tigers in a 2A District 14 contest on Thursday, April 10. The Tigers enter the contest with a record of 6-5. Ripley lost 15-5 in their recent non-league contest against Brighton (Brighton, TN)

The Pioneers now hold a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Covington for a non-league contest on Wednesday, April 9. Gibson County will face a Chargers squad coming off a 11-4 non-league loss to Tipton-Rosemark Academy (Millington, TN). The Chargers record now stands at 5-4.
