The Southlake Carroll Dragons softball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Northwest Texans to 3 in the Dragons league win on Tuesday.

The Dragons now possess a 16-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bell for a 6A Region I District 4 battle on Friday, April 11. Southlake Carroll will confront a Blue Raiders team coming off a 10-8 league win over Keller Central (Keller, TX). The Blue Raiders record now stands at 6-13.

With the loss, Northwest moves to 5-14 on the season. The Texans host Byron Nelson (Trophy Club, TX) to confront the Bobcat in a 6A Region I District 4 battle on Friday, April 11. The Bobcat come into the battle with a record of 14-11. Byron Nelson won 4-0 in their recent league battle against V.R. Eaton (Fort Worth, TX)
