April 8, 2025: Pikeville, KY 41501 Shelby Valley Wildcats (Pikeville, KY) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Phelps Hornets (Phelps, KY), 19-0 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Shelby Valley upgrades its record to 2-9 on the year. The Wildcats host J.I. Burton (Norton, VA) to play the Black Raiders in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 15. The Black Raiders enter the game with a record of 2-2.
The Hornets now own a 0-8 record. They play next when they host Magoffin County for a non-league game on Saturday, April 12.
