April 9, 2021: Sallisaw, OK 74955 Spectators at Friday's non-league battle between the Rogers Mountaineers (Rogers, AR) and the host Sallisaw Black Diamonds (Sallisaw, OK), saw Rogers's baseball squad knock off Sallisaw by a count of 7-1.
Coming up next, the Mountaineers play the Springdale Bulldogs (Springdale, AR) in a 6A West battle, on Monday, April 12. Rogers will attempt to move on its 14-4 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 4-5 record after their 8-7 non-league win over Northside (Fort Smith, AR).
The Black Diamonds now possess a 22-16 record. They take the field next when they host Fort Gibson for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 10. Sallisaw will play a Tigers squad coming off a 9-1 league win over Hilldale (Muskogee, OK). The Tigers record now stands at 33-1.
