April 9, 2021: Salt Lake City, UT 84103 The crowd at Friday's non-league test between the Viewmont Vikings (Bountiful, UT) and the host West Panthers (Salt Lake City, UT), saw Viewmont's soccer squad knock off West by a margin of 3-1.
The Vikings now sport a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Bonneville for a 5A Region 5 test on Tuesday, April 13. Viewmont will meet a Lakers squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Box Elder (Brigham City, UT). The Lakers record now stands at 4-2.
With the loss, West drops to 3-5 on the season. The Panthers travel to Jordan (Sandy, UT) to meet the Beetdiggers in a 6A Region 3 test on Wednesday, April 14. The Beetdiggers come into the test with a record of 3-3. Jordan won 3-2 in their recent non-league test against West Jordan (West Jordan, UT)
