Georgia High School Baseball - Locust Grove loses to Cartersville
April 9, 2022: Cartersville, GA 30120 In Saturday's non-league game, the host Cartersville Hurricanes baseball team scored a tight 9-3 victory over the Locust Grove Wildcats.
The Hurricanes (17-5) will now prepare for their game against Cass (White, GA). The Colonels go into the AAAAA Region 7 game with a 5-19 record. In their last game, Cass was overwhelmed by Ringgold (Ringgold, GA), 5-0, in a non-league game.
The Wildcats (17-7) will now prepare for their game against Ola (McDonough, GA). The Mustangs go into the AAAAA Region 4 game with a 17-5 record. In their last game, Ola tipped Eastside (Covington, GA), 3-1, in a non-league game.
