The Southern Lee Cavaliers baseball team (Sanford, NC), was tipped 6-5 in Saturday's non-league outing with the visiting Southwest Guilford Cowboys (High Point, NC)

The Cowboys now hold a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ragsdale for a Metro 4A outing on Tuesday, April 12. Southwest Guilford will confront a Tigers team coming off a 7-4 non-league win over West Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 7-7.

Next, the Cavaliers confront the Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC) in a Sandhills 3A/4A outing, on Tuesday, April 12. Southern Lee will attempt to advance on its 8-6 season record. The Vikings go into the outing with a 7-8 record after their 12-0 league win over Hoke County (Raeford, NC).
