April 9, 2024: Avoca, NY 14809 Spectators at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Avoca Central Tigers (Avoca, NY) and the visiting Elba Lancers (Elba, NY), saw Avoca Central's baseball squad beat Elba by a margin of 6-4.
Coming up next, the Tigers play the Alfred-Almond Eagles (Almond, NY) in a Section 5 Steuben County battle, on Wednesday, April 10. Avoca Central will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 0-3 record after their 16-5 league loss to Addison (Addison, NY).
The Lancers now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Barker for a non-league battle on Friday, April 12. Elba will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 19-2 non-league win over Holley (Holley, NY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-1.
