The Niwot Cougars baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the host Riverdale Ridge Ravens to 3 in the Cougars league victory on Tuesday.

The Cougars (6-2) will now prepare for their match against Severance (Severance, CO). The Silver Knights come into the 4A Longs Peak challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Severance by Mountain View (Loveland, CO), 8-6, in a league challenge.

With the defeat, Riverdale Ridge falls to 4-5 on the season. The Ravens host Thompson Valley (Loveland, CO) to battle the Eagles in a 4A Longs Peak challenge on Thursday, April 11. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 6-2. Thompson Valley won 10-8 in their recent league challenge against Roosevelt (Johnstown, CO)
