Normal University Pioneers (Normal, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Springfield Southeast Spartans (Springfield, IL), 11-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Normal University upgrades its record to 8-1 on the season. The Pioneers travel to Heyworth (Heyworth, IL) to battle the Hornets in a non-league test on Thursday, April 11. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 1-2. Heyworth lost 8-4 in their recent non-league test against Tri-Valley (Downs, IL)
