Utah High School Softball - Brighton holds off Providence Hall
April 9, 2024: Salt Lake City, UT 84121 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league match between the Brighton Bengals (Salt Lake City, UT) and the visiting Providence Hall Patriots (Herriman, UT), saw Brighton's softball squad nip Providence Hall by a count of 14-12.
The Bengals now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Skyline for a match on Thursday, April 11. Brighton will face a Eagles squad coming off a 9-7 non-league win over Olympus (Salt Lake City, UT). The Eagles record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Providence Hall falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to South Summit (Kamas, UT) to face the Wildcats in a non-league match on Wednesday, April 10. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 0-2.
