April 9, 2024: Atoka, OK 74525 Purcell Dragons (Purcell, OK) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Atoka Wampus Cats (Atoka, OK), 2-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Dragons confront the Millwood Falcons (Oklahoma City, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, April 12. Purcell will attempt to move on its 3-7 season record. The Falcons enter the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Atoka (Atoka, OK).
The Wampus Cats now possess a 1-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Harrah for a 3A District 1 challenge on Thursday, April 11. Atoka will confront a Panthers team coming off a 2-1 league win over Bristow (Bristow, OK). The Panthers record now stands at 10-5.
