Pennsylvania High School Softball - Albert Gallatin bounces Greensburg Salem
April 9, 2024: Greensburg, PA 15601 Albert Gallatin Colonials (Uniontown, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Greensburg Salem Golden Lions (Greensburg, PA), 6-2 in a league challenge.
The Colonials now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Elizabeth Forward for a WPIAL 4A 2 challenge on Wednesday, April 10. Albert Gallatin will face a Warriors squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Belle Vernon (Belle Vernon, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 4-0.
With the loss, Greensburg Salem falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Golden lions travel to Uniontown (Uniontown, PA) to face the Red Raiders in a WPIAL 4A 2 challenge on Wednesday, April 10. The Red Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 2-1. Uniontown won 13-9 in their recent league challenge against Laurel Highlands (Uniontown, PA)
