April 9, 2024: Belfry, KY 41514 Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Belfry Pirates (Belfry, KY) and the visiting Martin County Cardinals (Inez, KY), witnessed Belfry's softball squad prevail over Martin County by a count of 15-0.
The Pirates now sport a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to Blazer for a non-league match on Saturday, April 13.
With the loss, Martin County moves to 3-7 on the season. The Cardinals host Tug Valley (Williamson, WV) to meet the Panthers in a non-league match on Wednesday, April 10. The Panthers go into the match with a record of 9-3. Tug Valley lost 11-1 in their recent non-league match against Chapmanville Regional (Chapmanville, WV)
