Virginia High School Softball - Buckingham bounces Nottoway
April 9, 2024: Nottoway, VA 23930 Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Buckingham Knights (Buckingham, VA) and the host Nottoway Cougars (Nottoway, VA), observed Buckingham's softball team edge Nottoway by a score of 10-4.
With the triumph, Buckingham improves its record to 4-1 on the year. The Knights travel to Appomattox County (Appomattox, VA) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league game on Wednesday, April 10. The Raiders come into the game with a record of 5-2. Appomattox County lost 4-0 in their recent non-league game against Halifax County (South Boston, VA)
In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Lunenburg Central Chargers (Victoria, VA) in a James River game, on Thursday, April 11. Nottoway will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Chargers come into the game with a 5-0 record after their 5-0 league win over Randolph-Henry (Charlotte Court House, VA).
