April 9, 2024: St. George, KS 66535 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league match between the Chapman Fighting Irish (Chapman, KS) and the host Rock Creek Mustangs (St. George, KS), saw Chapman's softball squad nip Rock Creek by a count of 6-3.
The Fighting Irish now sport a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they host Concordia for a North Central Kansas match on Tuesday, April 16. Chapman will face a Panthers squad coming off a 14-12 non-league win over Republic County (Belleville, KS). The Panthers record now stands at 4-6.
With the loss, Rock Creek falls to 5-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Marysville (Marysville, KS) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Thursday, April 11. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 6-4. Marysville lost 4-0 in their recent league match against Abilene (Abilene, KS)
