Virginia High School Softball - Hampton bounces Denbigh
April 9, 2024: Hampton, VA 23669 The Hampton Crabbers (Hampton, VA) softball routed the visiting Denbigh Patriots (Newport News, VA), 19-6 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Crabbers (1-4) will now prepare for their bout against Norcom (Portsmouth, VA). The Greyhounds go into the non-league bout with a 1-4 record. In their last bout, Norcom was routed by Maury (Norfolk, VA), 18-0, in a league bout.
The Patriots now possess a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Hampton for a Peninsula bout on Thursday, April 11. Denbigh will confront a Crabbers squad coming off a 26-13 non-league win over Norcom (Portsmouth, VA). The Crabbers record now stands at 2-4.
