New Jersey High School Softball - Leonia bounces Elmwood Park
April 9, 2024: Elmwood Park, NJ 07407 Leonia Lions (Leonia, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Elmwood Park Crusaders (Elmwood Park, NJ), 16-0 in a league challenge.
The Lions now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Palisades Park for a NJIC - Liberty challenge on Wednesday, April 10. Leonia will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 27-20 non-league loss to Manchester Regional (Haledon, NJ). The Tigers record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, Elmwood Park falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Ridgefield Memorial (Ridgefield, NJ) to battle the Royals in a NJIC - Liberty challenge on Wednesday, April 10. The Royals enter the challenge with a record of 1-2. Ridgefield Memorial lost 13-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Rutherford (Rutherford, NJ)
