April 9, 2024: Lewisport, KY 42351 The Hancock County Hornets softball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Owensboro Catholic Aces to 0 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Hancock County moves its record to 5-4 on the year. The Hornets host South Spencer (Rockport, IN) to clash with the Rebels in a non-league game on Friday, April 12. The Rebels come into the game with a record of 2-6. South Spencer won 17-10 in their recent league game against Forest Park (Ferdinand, IN)
In their next game, the Aces clash with the Owensboro Red Devils (Owensboro, KY) in a District 9 game, on Thursday, April 11. Owensboro Catholic will attempt to move on its 7-2 season record.
