Westwood Wolverines (Westwood, MA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Hopkinton Hillers (Hopkinton, MA), 12-6 in a league challenge.

The Wolverines now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Ashland for a Tri-Valley challenge on Thursday, April 11. Westwood will face a Clockers squad coming off a 7-6 league loss to Norwood (Norwood, MA). The Clockers record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Hopkinton falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Hillers travel to Framingham (Framingham, MA) to face the Flyers in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 12. The Flyers enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. Framingham lost 7-2 in their recent league challenge against Newton North (Newtonville, MA)
