The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Encinal Jets (Alameda, CA) and the host Alameda Hornets (Alameda, CA), saw Encinal's baseball team beat Alameda by a margin of 9-3.

The Jets (10-5) will now prepare for their battle against Hayward (Hayward, CA). The Farmers enter the non-league battle with a 3-11 record. In their last battle, Hayward was overwhelmed by Arroyo (San Lorenzo, CA), 10-3, in a league battle.

Next, the Hornets face the Piedmont Highlanders (Piedmont, CA) in a West Alameda County - Foothill battle, on Wednesday, April 16. Alameda will attempt to improve on its 8-7 season record.
