New Jersey High School Baseball - Becton wallops Garfield
April 9, 2025: East Rutherford, NJ 07073 In Wednesday's league game, the host Becton Wildcats baseball team scored a nice 10-0 victory over the Garfield Boilermakers.
The Wildcats (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Wood-Ridge (Wood-Ridge, NJ). The Blue Devils enter the NJIC - Meadowlands game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, Wood-Ridge was overwhelmed by Hasbrouck Heights (Hasbrouck Heights, NJ), 3-1, in a league game.
Next, the Boilermakers face the Wallington Panthers (Wallington, NJ) in a NJIC - Meadowlands game, on Friday, April 11. Garfield will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 2-3 record after their 14-13 non-league win over Elmwood Park (Elmwood Park, NJ).
