Georgia High School Baseball - Cairo wallops Brooks County
April 9, 2025: Cairo, GA 39828 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Cairo Syrupmakers (Cairo, GA) and the visiting Brooks County Trojans (Quitman, GA), saw Cairo's baseball team beat Brooks County by a margin of 11-1.
The Syrupmakers (10-11) will now prepare for their battle against Bainbridge (Bainbridge, GA). The Bearcats enter the AAA Region 1 battle with a 8-12 record. In their last battle, Bainbridge defeated Cairo (Cairo, GA), 7-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Trojans face the Georgia Christian Generals (Valdosta, GA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, April 10. Brooks County will attempt to improve on its 4-22 season record. The Generals enter the battle with a 11-1 record after their 8-1 league win over Sherwood Christian Academy (Albany, GA).
