The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Corona Panthers (Corona, CA) and the host Casteel Colts (Queen Creek, AZ), saw Corona's baseball team get by Casteel by a tally of 8-7.

The Panthers (15-0) will now prepare for their battle against Columbus (Miami, FL). The Explorers enter the non-league battle with a 19-4 record. In their last battle, Columbus held off Edwardsville (Edwardsville, IL), 5-3, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Colts face the Perry Pumas (Gilbert, AZ) in a 6A Premier battle, on Tuesday, April 15. Casteel will attempt to upgrade on its 12-5 season record. The Pumas enter the battle with a 15-5 record after their 13-5 non-league loss to Brophy College Prep (Phoenix, AZ).
