Maryland High School Baseball - Chopticon prevails North Point
April 9, 2025: Waldorf, MD 20603 The Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD) baseball trounced the host North Point Eagles (Waldorf, MD), 11-2 in Wednesday's league challenge.
The Braves now own a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to McDonough for a Southern Maryland challenge on Friday, April 11. Chopticon will clash with a Rams team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Patuxent (Lusby, MD). The Rams record now stands at 4-4.
With the defeat, North Point drops to 4-2 on the year. The Eagles travel to Calvert (Prince Frederick, MD) to clash with the Cavaliers in a Southern Maryland challenge on Friday, April 11. The Cavaliers go into the challenge with a record of 2-5. Calvert won 6-0 in their recent league challenge against Great Mills (Great Mills, MD)
