In Wednesday's league bout, the North Surry Greyhounds (Mount Airy, NC) baseball squad the visiting Surry Central Golden Eagles (Dobson, NC), by a score of 3-1.

Next up, the Greyhounds encounter the North Wilkes Vikings (Hays, NC) in a Foothills 2A bout, on Tuesday, April 15. North Surry will attempt to advance on its 9-7 season record. The Vikings enter the bout with a 6-10 record after their 7-3 league loss to Forbush (East Bend, NC).
