Georgia High School Baseball - Whitewater edged by Pike County
April 9, 2025: Zebulon, GA 30295 Pike County Pirates (Zebulon, GA) followers left the game pleased Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad nip the visiting Whitewater Wildcats (Fayetteville, GA), 6-5 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Pike County moves its record to 9-13 on the season. The Pirates travel to Rutland (Macon, GA) to battle the Hurricanes in a AA Region 2 match on Friday, April 11. The Hurricanes come into the match with a record of 7-10. Rutland lost 15-0 in their recent league match against Pike County (Zebulon, GA)
The Wildcats now possess a 17-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Spalding for a AAA Region 2 match on Thursday, April 10. Whitewater will battle a Jaguars squad coming off a 15-5 league loss to Whitewater (Fayetteville, GA). The Jaguars record now stands at 8-15.
